Mission Statement:
The mission of the United Church of Penacook Youth Group is to provide a good, clean, safe place for young adults to assemble together and have some fun. This program is designed to expose kids to members of the Church as an ice breaker and to also serve as an introduction to the Church family in an informal and fun environment.
Open Door Policy:
All activities are on a voluntary basis with no commitment or obligation. Everyone is welcome!
Adult Supervision:
There will be continuous adult supervision of the kids during all activities. Adult supervision is always in pairs for the safety of our kids. Parent, guardian and congregation participation is welcome and encouraged. If you are an adult that can provide transportation, snacks, or just want to come along for the ride, please call one of our leaders.
Activities:
Youth Group activities will consist of three main components:
- Field trips which could include bowling, hiking, cross-country skiing, hay rides, sledding, roller blading, etc.
- Community Service: Helping the less fortunate with the United Church of Penacook's Open Door Community Kitchen and serving at Church Suppers. This also counts for community service credits for High School.
- Fund Raising will be minimal but will still be fun with a talent show/play, craft projects and calendar sales.
