Experience a Fresh Explosion of Faith

Based on Isaiah 43:10, Believing God: Experiencing a Fresh Explosion of Faith by Beth Moore explores what it means to not only believe in God but to believe Him. Do you take God at His Word, believing what He has told you, or do you just believe in His existence? Beth Moore came face-to-face with this question well into adulthood. At first, her response to God was, "Lord, of course I believe in You. I've believed in You all my life." Over time, the Holy Spirit led her to understand He was saying, "I didn't ask you to believe in Me. I asked you to believe Me."

Through studying the lives of Abraham, Moses, and others from Hebrews 11 as examples of persons who believed God, Beth encourages women to deepen their own trust in God and receive a fresh word from Him.

Believing God --- 20 Week Bible Study by Beth Moore, led by Karen Westhaver

Beginning Thursday, September 24 weekly through Thursday, February 25 excluding Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and New Years Eve (all on Thursday this year). An inclusive Women’s Bible Study meeting weekly - inviting women and their friends from every/any church (or none) in the Concord/Penacook/Boscawen area. The Study format will be:

• DVD viewing and discussion of Viewing Guide, and the alternating week going through/discussion of the homework in the Member Book/work book. Study consists of 10 DVD viewing sessions and discussion of viewing guide (provided each week) and 10 sessions of discussion of workbook material (alternating weeks).
• Time and place: the United Church of Penacook sanctuary, 21 Merrimack St., Penacook, NH (disability accessible) every Thursday beginning September 24 (excluding holidays) from 7:00 – 8:30. Will keep to the time limit each Thursday.
• Women will be responsible for purchasing their “Member Book” before the first session, but if pre-registering with the book fee, Karen will order them from the Bible Bookstore in Concord, NH. Research shows this is the most economical place to purchase the book at $16.95. As Karen has already purchased the Bible Study, there will be NO ADDITIONAL FEE…just the need to purchase the book. It’s a great resource, much more than just a “workbook”! Of course, women may acquire the book on their own from the Bible Bookstore (or another source) as the Bible Bookstore will have “Member Books” available in addition to the original order for our study.
