The United Church of Penacook, accessible from many major roads, is conveniently located in the center of the Village of Penacook at the corner of Merrimack Street and Community Drive. Parking lots behind the church can be entered from Community Drive and East Street. We are happy to share our facilities for both community and private functions.

Sanctuary A traditional church sanctuary with rich colors, beautiful stain glass windows, stately woodwork, and high ceiling. Eleven rows of padded wooden pews divided by a center aisle easily accommodate up to 300 people. A wheelchair ramp at the front entrance allows easy access to the Narthex (lobby) and Sanctuary. This space is ideal for weddings, memorial services, musical rehearsals, recitals and concerts, conferences, and lectures. No food or drink is allowed in this space.	To top

Fellowship Hall This open-space function room can accommodate up to 160 people for a sit-down dinner or 300 people with a meeting setup. Rental includes the adjoining full-service kitchen. This space is often used for receptions and social gatherings as well as large meetings, workshops, presentations, movies, and public suppers. Furniture can also be cleared away to make space for exercise or yoga classes. Twelve eight-foot rectangular tables and two round tables with sufficient folding chairs are available to use at no extra cost. Fellowship Hall is wheelchair-accessible, using a ramp from the parking lot directly behind the church.

Smoke-free Space

All spaces in the United Church of Penacook building are smoke-free. See the sample agreements for additional restrictions and safety requirements.

Current Room Rates

Reduced rates are available, at the discretion of the Pastor and the Diaconate, for members of the church, non-profit organizations, on-going support groups, and groups whose mission is community service oriented. Full-day rental rates are available. Please contact the church office to get further information about applying for a rental rate reduction.

Additional Services

The church does not arrange for soloists but please note, if the organist is to accompany a soloist, payment to the organist will be $10 more.

If any of the above are not available, the church will arrange for a substitute but the fee may be higher.

Payment for any of these services is due on or before the time of the service. Separate checks should be prepared for each person.

Parking

On-site parking for 40 vehicles is available in two lots behind the church. Additional parking is available on Merrimack Street, Community Drive, and East Street.
