Richard M. Monahon, AIA, Architects, established in 1975 to manage the restoration of the core Historic Harrisville Mills, has provided architectural services for individual and institutional clients. The firm has grown to serve clients with both adaptive reuse/preservation needs as well as new design requirements.

Based in Peterborough, NH , this firm has three registered architects and four professional personnel providing full architectural services. Church projects include renovations for St. James Catholic Church in Portsmouth, NH; an addition for St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Hanover, NH; and an adaptive reuse project for the St. Bernard Convent in Keene, NH.

Initial cost-saving suggestions and an emphasis on retaining the historic value and appeal of the church convinced the committee that Richard M. Monahon, AIA, Architects had what it takes to properly oversee the renovation project at the United Church of Penacook.

To make this happen, we need your help.
