Landscape architect, Randy Knowles, presented drawings of a renewed Penacook center.**

Nancy Berliner, Executive Director of Groundwork Concord, shared information about ways and means of enhancing the natural environment of the village.

Any continued work, such as needed zoning changes, will be worked on over the summer with the City of Concord. Volunteers signed up for several committees which will join in the next steps in this process.

** Changes to East Street and Community Drive that could impact UCP and the Capital Improvement Campaign include:

• improve intersections
• reconfigure parking
• increase green space
• change pavement and pedestrian crossings
• additional lighting
• additional trees and landscaping
• tannery development
• future development including the possibility of a food store on East and Crescent Streets.
